It’s time for the truth

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Andrijana Radivojevic i am a 30-year-old woman, and I come from a small country that used to be big. Serbia. I have never felt connected to my country. Since i was a child, i dreamed of leaving, not knowing why or how, but I would dream of other places like the USA or the Caribbean. I would search for magic. My country is seemingly happy and warm, but inside, it’s cold and judgmental, not friendly at all. There were, and there are lots of these rules that tell you how to live, how to talk, breathe, and eat. How to think, spend your money, who to love…These rules were created by people themselves. Many wars and mishaps that hit us over time made our people’s hearts as hard as steel, and my heart was warm, full of love, soft like a flower you could squish in a second. Oh, and it would impact my future during my growing-up years. I’m here, and i am ready to talk about it. Nothing but the truth from now on, dear reader.
